Ingredients
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon thyme powder
3 bay leaves
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup crushed tomatoes
2 cups dry lentils
10 cups water

Directions
In a large soup pot, add all the ingredients. Stir periodically and boil the soup for 50- 60 minutes. Add more water if needed.
