Ingredients

MEATBALLS:

  • 1 lb ground duck
  • 4 slices of bread cut in small pieces 
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon thyme 
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup ouzo 
  • 2 tbsp sesame
  • canola oil for frying 

Instructions

  • In a bowl put all the ingredients except the canola oil. Use your hands to mix well for a few minutes until everything well combined.
  • Refrigerate for 20 -30 minutes 
  • Take some meat and roll into a ball. Form small balls and let them stand for 4-5 minutes.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the meatballs for 5 – 6 minutes, until nicely browned all over.
