1/2 cup warm milk
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon yeast
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
50 gr butter (1/2 stick)
oil for frying
sugar for decorating
1. In the mixer put all the ingredients until you have a dough. Let it rest for seven to ten minutes.
2. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface, and gently roll out to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with a floured doughnut cutter. Let doughnuts sit out to rise again for two to three minutes.
3. Heat oil and fry doughnuts on each side until golden brown.
4. When ready, put them in a bowl with sugar and roll until covered.
