Ingredients
1 1/2 stick butter melted
3 cups flour
1/2 cup canola oil
1 cup powdered sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons corn starch
4 teaspoons cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 orange juice
1 teaspoon Metaxa

Directions
1. In the mixer put all the ingredients except cocoa until you have a dough.
2. Separate the dough in half. Mix the cocoa with the one half.
3.Line a cookie sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
4. Preheat oven to 350°F.
5. Scoop the dough out and roll into 1-inch balls. The dough should be soft and delicate. Place the cookies on the cookie sheets 2 inches apart. Use the bottom of a drinking glass to press down on each ball, until it’s 1/3- to 1/2-inch thick. Make wreaths using the vanilla and the chocolate cookies.
6. Bake each sheet of sugar cookies for 9-11 minutes, until the edges are slightly golden and the centers are just barely set. Cool completely on the cookie sheets.
