PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES

TOTAL TIME: 40 MINUTES

Ingredients:

  •  2 cups all-purpose flour
  •  1 cup sugar
  •  1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  •  1 tsp. baking soda
  •  1 tsp salt
  •  1/2 cup canola oil
  •  1 tsp vanilla extract
  •  2 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
  •  1 cup chocolate chips 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 380°F and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl add flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt. Whisk until evenly mixed.
  3. Add in oil and vanilla.
  4. Stir in pumpkin. Mix with a large spatula until the batter becomes smooth. 
  5. The batter will be quite thick. 
  6. Add the chocolate chips and stir.
  7. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 30 minutes.
