YIELD:

serves 6-10 

ACTIVE TIME: 10 minutes

TOTAL TIME: 1 hour

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 stick butter melted
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • juice from one lemon 
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla 
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Put all the ingredients in the mixer and mix until everything is combined and you have a non-sticky dough. Add more flour if needed.
  2. Cover the bowl and let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 380oF.
  4. Put some parchment paper in a cookie sheet.
  5. Form small balls/ cookies and place them in the cookie sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-30 minutes until golden.
  7. Let them cool down for 15-20 minutes and store them in a Tupperware container.
