For the dough
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup warm water
1 teaspoon yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup olive oil
2 cups flour
corn oil or canola oil for frying

For the filling
1 cup feta crumbles
3 teaspoons milk
Mix the feta and the milk together.

1. Mix all the ingredients for the dough in a bowl.
2. Divide the dough into ten pieces.
3. Form small pies with your hands and place a full spoon of the filling on each circle and fold the dough, creating a ball.
4. Fry the cheese pies in hot oil, at medium-high heat; when one side becomes golden, turn them on the other side. Remove the pies with a slotted spoon and place on some kitchen paper to absorb the extra oil.
